- Educate Your Photographer: Begin by sharing insights into the Catholic faith and the significance of various wedding rituals. Explain the order of the ceremony, the symbolism behind certain actions, and any specific customs you plan to incorporate. Final Thoughts
While hiring a Catholic photographer can be helpful, it is certainly not required. With my decades of wedding and event planning experience, I have found that most photographers do not come from a Catholic background. However, I see this as a beautiful opportunity for them to get to know our faith more deeply through the experience of a Catholic wedding.
With clear communication during the planning stage, I have never had a couple regret choosing a photographer without a Catholic background. The key is preparation, clarity, and mutual respect.
